中国石化新闻网讯 据国外媒体5月17日休斯敦报道，马拉松石油公司的销售顾问15日表示，由于油气公司把重点放在美国页岩地层的钻探作业，马拉松石油公司时下正在寻求投标东非的4个陆上勘探区块的股份。

根据斯伦贝谢公司旗下的一家为国际油气公司提供收购和撤资咨询服务的子公司IndigoPool公司所说，总部设在休斯敦的马拉松石油公司将对位于埃塞俄比亚和肯尼亚的全部或部分陆上勘探区块提出报价。

销售通知说，现金投标定于7月23日，而数据库将在5月29日对外开放。

Marathon Oil Corp is seeking bids for its interest in four onshore exploration blocks in East Africa as the oil and gas company focuses on drilling in U.S. shale formations, its advisor on the sale said on Friday.

The Houston company will take offers for the all or part of the properties located in Ethiopia and Kenya, according to an email from divestiture advisory firm IndigoPool.

Cash bids are due July 23, and a data room will be opened on May 29, the sale notice said.
